When it comes to reinvention yourself and planning her next career move, Puerto Rican actress and TV host, Giselle Blondet, isn’t afraid to shake things up.

During an intimate conversation with entrepreneur, Nely Galán, as part of Poderosas Live!, Blondet shared her journey as a self-made businesswoman , including some of the tips that have helped her make bold, and sucessful, career moves.

After hosting the reality show Gran Hermano on Telemundo earlier this year, Blondet is now focusing on her jewelry line, Gi by Giselle Blondet, as well as designing bedding, bath and intimate apparel. 

“What if I create something that is more accessible for everybody, that looks good, that gives a good message,” says Blondet of the moment she made the decision to try something new. “You need to visualize what you want and go towards that.”

Blondet confesed to making some challenges, but instead of backing down, she faced them head on.

“You get scared and you don’t want to fail, but you have to use that in your favor,” Giselle adds.

One of those challenging moments came when she resigned from Univision’s morning show Despierta América, where she had been a co-host for eight years. Even though she was at the peak of her career at the network, she felt like she needed a change.
