Alejandro Fernández and Eva Longoria Parkershowed up at the 8th annual benefit gala for Padres Contra el Cáncer (Parents Against Cancer) to help fight an important cause. The actress, who is the spokesperson for the organization, invited the Mexican singer to entertain guests at the event.
“It’s incredible … I’m very happy to have been invited, because it’s a very noble cause and I’m glad to be able to contribute,” said Fernandez, 37, about his participation at the gala, held in Los Angles, CA.
The singer commenced the ceremony by singing classics such as “Guadalajara” and “México, lindo y querido”, among other songs. Longoria was delighted. “He’s gonna come every year just so that I can see him, and for the event, of course,” joked the wife of basketball player Tony Parker.
Fernández also said he would like to have Longoria come to Mexico to assist one of his own charity events. “We were talking about it ¿Why not do something similar in Mexico?” said the singer.
