Some people work tirelessly until they achieve their dreams and Dulce María is one of them. After conquering the arena as a writer, singer and soap opera actress, the insatiable Mexican star, will make her big-screen debut this year. Dulce will star in a movie by Stan Jakubowicz, who also produced the hit film La mujer de mi hermano.
“It’s really cool, I thought I wasn’t going to be able to do it with all the commitments I have with the band [RBD]”, the 22-year-old redhead said. “But we’ll start filming in [mid 2008].”
The actress will play Leo, a young girl who falls blindly in love with a married man 20 years older than her who has an autistic son.
“The movie has a beautiful message,” the RBD singer says. “I will play a very positive girl, with a lot of strength. It’s a very promising movie.”
