These days, weddings and romance aren’t the only thing on the mind of William Omar Landrón, better known as Don Omar. The reggaeton singer, who will marry Univisión weather presenter Jackie Guerrido on April 19, also has his duties as a father on the brain.
After coming to a legal agreement at a court in Caguas, Puerto Rico, Don Omar will have to pay a monthly food allowance to his ex Melissa del Valle so that she can cover the meal expenses of their 2-year-old daughter Giana.
“The girl’s needs are covered, and we’re all satisfied. Don Omar provided as he’s provided for all of his children, to cover all of their needs,” the singer’s lawyer René Muñoz told UPI news agency. The girl’s mother is also satisfied with the agreement that was reached. “I’m relaxed and calm because the process is over,” she told Puerto Rican newspaper Primera hora.
The 29-year-old artist has two other children from previous relationships: Dereck Omar, 2, and Daniel, 6. According to the same publication, the boys receive an annual allowance of $2,000 from their father.
