Actress Angélica Rivera, 38, got tired of the single life and opted for romantic relationship with Mexican governor, Enrique Peña Nieto, 41, four months ago. The announcement will not be made public until she has finished her divorce proceedings with the father of her kids.
According to Quien.com, the two met in the governor’s office to work on a few commercial campaigns for the government, and in June 2008, they fell in love.
“We didn’t call her directly. We called Televisa so that we can work with her. That’s stated in the contract,” said a government official, hushing rumors that Peña Nieto had solicited her for the campaigns to get closer to her.
According to the website, the relationship is so serious, that the governor has allegedly already spoken with his kids and told them that even though he’s fallen in love with the actress, their mom, who passed away, will always have a special place in his heart.
The actress has three daughters with brother of Verónica Castro, producer José Alberto Castro.
